I am available to attend births in the city of Chicago and the near suburbs, in both hospital & home. My comfort measures include relaxation techniques, acupressure, massage, aqua therapy, position suggestions, counter-pressure, aromatherapy, use of a birth ball and Rebozo and more.

Doula Services…

• Free consultation.
• Two prenatal visits in your home – during these visits, we discuss your desires & potential fears, review available options throughout your birth journey, assist you in creating a birth plan (if you choose) & spend time to become comfortable with each other. Additional visits are also available at an hourly rate.
• I offer unlimited, responsive, phone & email support during your birth journey.
• I also provide continuous support during the labor & delivery, as well as through immediate post partum.
• Breastfeeding support is also provided during immediate postpartum and during subsequent postpartum visits.
• I include one postpartum visit within two weeks of your birth. Additional postpartum visits are also available at an hourly rate.
• I am on call, 24/7, for two weeks prior to your due date & two weeks afterward.

Fees

My fee is $400, of which $200 (as a deposit) is required upon signing the contract. This will reserve your due date on my calendar, as I usually limit the number of births that I am able to attend each month. The remaining $200 is due during the first postpartum visit or anytime before it. If the fee is paid in full when services are retained, a $25 discount will be applied. I also consider barters and have scholarships available for those in financial need. I accept checks, cash & PayPal.
